The Taste of Frankfort, a fundraising event for the campaign of mayor Keith Ogle, will be returning later this month.
At the event there will be a wide range of samplings of food from the best restaurants in Frankfort so that attendees can enjoy their favorite food and discover new ones. The last time the event was held was in 2016 when Jim Holland was mayor.
Ogle wants to bring back the event to keep the tradition alive and bring attention to the business community. Ogle said that the Taste of Frankfort was always popular for both visitors and residents and allowed them to enjoy some of the best food in the area. He added that now is the time to support local businesses as they endeavor to prosper following the events of the past year.
Events such as this one provide opportunities for local businesses to showcase their finest cuisine items. At such events local businesses can use graphic design on Brochures and other printed material to provide more details about their special dishes.
Tickets are $40 per person. There are also various levels of sponsorship available. The Taste of Frankfort will take place on Tuesday, September 21 at CD and ME - an entertainment and wedding venue on South La Grange Road, Frankfort - from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
