Several events celebrating the upcoming Easter holiday and the arrival of spring will be coming to Frankfort this month.
Poster printing is often used to promote such events throughout a community.
The first happening will be Donuts with the Bunny to be held at the Founders Community Center. Included in this event will be holiday games, crafts, an egg hunt, doughnuts, and a special photograph opportunity with the Bunny. There will be three sittings on Saturday, March 23 from 10:00 to 10:45am, 10:45 to 11:30am, and 11:30am to 12:15pm.
A Super Dog Egg Hunt will be held at Bark Park at Commissioners Park. Here, people are encouraged to bring their dogs so they can sniff out the eggs filled with treats to win a prize. There will be dog-friendly vendors present after the event, with opportunities to get photographs taken with the bunny. This will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, March 23.
Fort Frankfort at Commissioners Park will be the location for the annual Family Fun Fly. This will celebrate “Flying for Kids Month,” which is a kite fly across the state that promotes recreational agencies, park districts, and the Park District Youth License Plate. People of all ages are encouraged to bring their own kite or borrow one from the Park District. This event will be held from 11:00am to noon on Tuesday, March 26, and is entirely free.
