Frankfort to hold festivities for the holiday

Donuts with the Bunny will be held at the Founders Community Center in Frankfort early next month.

Children will join Peter Cottontail for crafts, games, doughnuts, and an opportunity for a photograph with the bunny. There will be two sessions on Saturday April 4—one from 11:00 to 11:30 am followed by one from 11:30 am to noon. The cost is $5 per child and registration for the event is required.

Such events and other related activities are often promoted throughout a community with banner printing.

Peter Cottontail will then head over to Commissioners Park for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. There will be designated areas and times for each age group, with 10 minutes allocated to search for plastic eggs in these areas. The bunny will be on site from 12:45 to 1:45 pm for pictures with the egg hunt taking place beginning at 1:00 p.m.

This egg hunt will be followed by a Super Dog Egg Hunt at the Bark Park at Commissioners Park at 2:30 pm where dogs will be able to collect eggs filled with treats and win a prize by sniffing out a special egg. The bunny will be on hand once again for photographs and there will be vendors with dog-friendly products. Dogs are to be on leash and children under the age of 12 need to be accompanied by an adult.
