There will be several festive events in Frankfort this month.
Poster printing is often employed throughout a community to inform residents of such special events.
The first will be the Holiday Craft Show, which is being held for the 31st year. There will be a wide range of vendors and crafters, including Pampered Chef, Tupperware, and Tastefully Simple, as well as clothing, holiday floral arrangements, and decorations. This will be at the Founders Community Center from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 9.
The Founder’s Community Center will be displaying a mailbox for Santa Claus beginning on Monday, November 18. Children can write letters to Santa Claus. As long they include their full name, address, city, state, and ZIP code, along with their wish list, Santa will write back to them. Letters are due by Monday, December 2 at 4:00 pm. This activity is open to residents in the Frankfort Park District. The district will ensure that letters get delivered to Santa at the North Pole.
The Frankfort Park District is also seeking people who can color pictures, make cards, and write inside cards bought in a store to send to seniors who may be missing their friends and family during the holiday season. The Park District is looking to collect 300 cards by Friday, December 6 that can be distributed to the facilities in the community.
