Frankfort prepares as Halloween ghosts in

The Frankfort Park District is holding two events this year to celebrate Halloween.

The first event is the annual Halloween Haunting, which features lots of family-friendly activities. There will be giant inflatables, balloon artists, and a haunted hay ride, as well as a kids’ entertainment show, movie room, and craft activities. The first 150 children will be able to pick a pumpkin to take home. Those who come dressed in costume will save $1 on the admission price.

The next night will be Howl-a-Woof, which is a Halloween celebration for dogs and their owners. This free event will feature activities such as trick or treating, a bone yard hunt, and other games. There is also a costume contest. Prizes will be awarded for Best Overall, Funniest, and Scariest costumes.

Families all over Frankfort will likely find out about these events through distributed Flyers that may be placed in local newspapers.

The Halloween Haunting will be held at the Founders Community Center on October 21 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Admission is $10, for which guests will receive a wristband that will admit them to all activities.

Howl-a-Woof will take place at Bark Park in Commissioners Park on October 22 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, or on the rain date of October 29.
