The Frankfort Parks Department is planning some special events this fall.
Poster printing is often used to promote and advertise such events throughout the community.
The Family Fall Campfire and Overnight Campout will be taking place in September at Commissioners Park. There will be a campfire around which people can sit and drink hot chocolate, roast marshmallows, and listen to ghost stories, while others can enjoy a hayride and play games in the field. Those who want to stay overnight can bring their sleeping Bags and tents. Tents can also be rented from the Forest Preserve District of Will County. Also planned is a movie outdoors accompanied by popcorn and a continental breakfast in the morning.
The Campfire is planned for Friday, September 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, and is free. Those who plan to stay overnight will be charged $39 per campsite for up to six people, and will need to vacate the site by 9:00 am the following morning.
Also, the Holiday Craft and Vendor Show will take place in November at the Founders Community Center. There will be many crafters among which will be Paparazzi Jewelry, doTerra Essential Oils, Color Street, and Origami Owl, as well as vendors including Tupperware, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Tastefully Simple, and Avon. Clothing, floral items, and holiday decorations are other items that will be featured at the show, which is now in its 27th year.
