The Park District of Frankfort will be holding its several camps for kids this summer. For children in grades one through five, there is the Fort Frankfort Adventures Summer Day Camp, while those in grades six through eight can attend the Teen Adventures Youth Day Camp.
Flyer printing can be used to inform residents of such summer activities for kids.
The Fort Frankfort Adventures Summer Day Camp offers arts and crafts, days on the water, outdoor games and activities, and a weekly field trip. It will be held at Commissioners Park and at the Chelsea Middle School, where before and after daycare will be held along with the camp during days of inclement weather. Campers are requested to bring lunch, although lunch may be provided on certain field trips. Campers can sign up for the entire eight-weeks of camp or for single weeks at a time.
The Teen Adventures Youth Day Camp offers activities similar to those of the other camp and have many field trips walking through downtown Frankfort and to various parks in the community. This camp will be held at the Founders Community Center.
Campers are requested to bring a water bottle, money, a back pack, and lunch day. There are three sessions of this camp, each of which lasts for two and a half weeks.
