Frankfort holds family holiday events
Several special events are coming to Frankfort this month.
Santa Claus will be at the Founders Community Center for visits and for games with a holiday theme, crafts, and cookie decorating. Professional photographs of Santa and families will be taken by Anna Thielen Photography. People can sign up for one of two time slots—11:00 to 11:45 a.m. and noon to 12:45 p.m. on Saturday December 7.
This event will be followed by people to have their family and pet photographed with Santa Claus. This will be from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the Community Center. There is one free photo download per family for each photography event.
Puzzle Mania – Holiday Edition will be at Founders Community Center on Oak Street and is open to people of all ages. Teams of four people are needed for this event which is a jigsaw puzzle tournament, and each team will race against each other to finish the puzzle in the shortest amount of time. There will be two divisions—one for family and friends of all ages and the other for children between 5 and 13 years old. The children will have a puzzle of 300 pieces and the family and friends will have a puzzle of 500 pieces. This will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday December 13.
Holiday events like can be promoted throughout a community with poster printing, and really help bring a community together.
