The village of Frankfort will be hosting several events next month.
The first will be the Frankfort Community Garage Sale. The cost for each household is $10 and their name will be included on a list of participants. Each participant will receive a packet with balloons, a sign, tips for selling items at a garage sale, and a map of Frankfort subdivisions. Advertising of the event will be taken care of by the park district with Signs, online, and in local newspapers. Poster printing can also be used throughout the town to promote such events.
This will be held beginning at 7:30 am or 9:00 am (depending on when the participant wants to start their sale) until 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 2.
Parties in the Park will have activities, games, a DJ dance party, and other fun for the family at Michelle Bingham Park at Old Plank Trail and Elsner Road. This event is sponsored by Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and Earthrise Energy. It will be from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm on Monday, August 4.
Toy Story will be part of the Movies on the Green series and will take place at Breidert Green on Kansas and White Streets. Movies on the Green are co-sponsored by the Frankfort Park District, the Village of Frankfort, and the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce and will begin at approximately 8:15 pm on Tuesday, August 12.
