Frankfort education foundation to hold special fundraising event

The 157-C Education Foundation of the Frankfort School District will be holding its annual fundraising event in March.

The evening promises to be a fun-filled event with a sit-down dinner and open bar, tables for games, and a DJ. There will also be raffles, silent and live auctions, and many more activities.

Ticket prices are $110 each and $950 for a reserved table of 10 people. Various levels of sponsorship are also available for the evening. Banner printing can be used in schools and throughout the community to promote such special events and their fundraising efforts.

Proceeds from the evening go towards the Education Foundation, whose mission is to support the children of the 157-C District which include the Grand Prairie Elementary School, the Chelsea Intermediate School, and the Hickory Creek Middle School. The funds it raises support teacher grants for projects in such areas as technology, literacy, science, and social studies to enable the students to become confident, lifelong learners and productive citizens.

Over $1.8m has been contributed by the Foundation to the school district for teacher grants and other programs and services. The Foundation also provides hot lunches for each of the schools every month.

This annual fundraiser will be held from 6:30 pm to midnight at The Odyssey in Tinley Park on Friday, March 6.
