Fall festival returns to Frankfort

The Frankfort Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Frankfort Fall Fest this weekend for the 54th year.

The Fest is one of the top 100 best contemporary and classic craft shows in the country, according to Sunshine Artist Magazine.

Pauline Modjeski, Executive Director of the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, said that typically more than 300 vendors and artisans from across the country participate in the festival. Modjeski added that it is an honor to work with the artisans and the many volunteers who do so much for the festival and the city.

Such annual events are often promoted throughout a city and the region with banner printing.

In addition to the crafts show, which will be from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday, and Monday until 5:00 pm., there will be carnival rides throughout the weekend and a parade on Sunday at 1:00 pm.

The Muddsharks and The Noize will be on the Breidert Green Entertainment Stage on Saturday, while the Bad Mojo Band, Strung Out, and SHiNDiG! will take the stage on Sunday. On Monday the SpotLight Arts Collective and Whiskeyfist will be performing. Additional entertainment will take place on North Oak Street and will feature Simple Men & Southern Nights, the Macy Brothers, Voices of the Stars, and the Frankfort Brass Band.

The Frankfort Fall Fest runs from Saturday, September 3 through Labor Day.
