Fall events to be held in Frankfort

Several events are being planned by the town of Frankfort.

Poster printing is often used to promote such events throughout a town and encourage participation.

The first event is Family Camping at Commissioners Park. This will be an evening and an overnight of fun at the park with such activities as roasting marshmallows, playing games, listening to ghost stories, and taking a hayride around the park. There will also be a movie and continental breakfast in the morning. This will be from 6:30 p.m. on Friday September 13 to 9:00 a.m. Saturday September 14 with the cost of $40 per campsite for six people.

Later in the month will be the Mother/Child Glow Dance at the Founders Community Center. This is open to people of all ages to dance the night away. Attendees are encouraged to wear neon, white, or anything that glows. There will be entertainment and light refreshments as well as a professional photographer. This will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday September 27. Tickets are $16 for residents and $21 for non-residents.

There will also be a Senior Fall Luncheon for those 55 years of age and older at the Founders Community Center. This will be an afternoon of live entertainment, a delicious lunch and dessert, and socializing. This will be from noon to 2:00 p.m. on Friday October 4. The cost is $7.00 per person.
