Estate planning talk to take place in Frankfort

Greg Kurinec of Bentron Financial Group will be leading a talk on the essentials of estate planning at the Frankfort Park District later this month.

Kurinec will discuss the estate planning process from the beginning to the end and explain why estate planning is needed, while also covering the most common documents and planning techniques involved. The talk will also explain the difference between a trust and a will, and help attendees to understand power of attorney for living trusts, financial matters, healthcare, and guardianship appointments. The goal of the session is to leave attendees with a comprehensive understanding of what they need to do to protect their heirs and their spouse.

Such sessions are also an opportunity for providing Booklets and Brochures created by local Print shops, with more information about such topics.

Kurinec is a master registered financial consultant and a certified financial planner. He started working for Bentron Financial Group, based in Downers Grove, in 2004. Through the years he has helped people who are retiring or approaching retirement with matters like estate planning, investments, risk management, and helping with their overall financial well-being.

The talk will be at the Founders Community Center on Oak Street and is free and open to the public. Registration for the talk is available online and by calling the park district.

“Essentials of Estate Planning” will be on Wednesday, October 19 beginning at 6:30 pm.
