Easter happenings to come to Frankfort

Several events with an Easter theme will be taking place in Frankfort this month.

The Frankfort Children’s Museum will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for children between the ages of one and six years old. This event will be on two Sundays, April 3 and April 10, starting at 9:30 am.

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt in Frankfort Square, hosted by the Garrett Family on the front yard of their home and is free and open to the public. This event will be on Sunday, April 3 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

An Easter Egg-stravaganza will be held at the Amazing Love Church on South Pfeiffer Road. A helicopter will drop 10,000 eggs and there will be face painting, a bounce house, games, and Joey’s Red Hots will be offering food. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for family photographs between 1:30 pm. and 2:30 pm. This event will be held from noon to 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 9.

A Super Dog Egg Hunt will be held at the Bark Park hosted by the Frankfort Park District. Humans can bring their dogs for an afternoon of hunting for dog treat-filled eggs and photographs with Peter Cottontail. This will be on Saturday, April 9 beginning at 2:30 pm.
