The Frankfort Arts Association has announced its line-up of events for the fall.
The first is the opening of a Pop-Up Gallery in partnership with the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce Wine and Ale Walk. The Wine and Ale Walk enables those 21 years of age and older to stroll through downtown Frankfort and shop in its many stores while enjoying 20 ale and wine stops and 10 appetizer and dessert stops. The price of admission is $40 per person, which includes a souvenir and $10 for a designated driver. This special event will take place on Sunday, September 29 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
Poster printing can be employed throughout the town to make such an event known to residents and encourage sponsorships.
Also, the Frankfort Arts Association will be holding its first Art and Ales fundraiser in October in New Lenox at the Arrowhead Ales Brewing Company. Included in the price of admission are hors d’oeuvres and one beverage. There will be interactive art, live music, raffles, and a silent auction of pieces of artwork from over 30 local artists. This event will take place from 6:00 to 11:00 pm on Friday, October 11.
The Frankfort Arts Association is a new nonprofit organization designed to educate and promote an appreciation of the arts throughout the community.
