The Frankfort Fall Festival is taking place this Labor Day weekend. It is presented by the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Frankfort. Proceeds will be donated to various local charities.
The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Happy Days’ in memory of the 1960s when the festival was first held.
Over 300 artisans will be on hand to sell their handmade and unique items, which will include woodcrafts, metalwork, jewelry, and even doll clothing. There will also be a food court and a beer tent. Other activities will include face painting for the children.
The carnival, which starts several days before the festival, is hosted by the Frankfort Firefighters Association. Tickets are $1.25 each, $25 for 22, or $60 for 55. The days prior to the opening festival are pay-one-price days and cost $25.
There will also be musical entertainment over the three days from groups such as The Stingers, Usual Chaos and The Real Gone.
Vendors at events such as the Frankfort festival often invest in Banners to help draw attention to their booths.
The Frankfort Fall Festival will be held in downtown Frankfort from September 3 to 5, and the carnival will open a few days before on August 31. Admission is free of charge. To find out more about all of the planned events, contact the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce at 815-469-3356.
