When men or women retire from military service, many choose to start a second career, and an Evanston imitative has been created for those who are interested in the financial services industry.
The evening sessions will equip those who participate with skills that can help them transition into the second phase of their working life. It will do this through a variety of creative methods, with the end goal of giving the attendees self-confidence, the ability to work as a member of a financial services team and also problem solving skills that are outside the box.
Part of the sessions will be devoted to crafting a resume, including providing feedback that can really help to make a candidate shine. Time will be also spent on mock interviews, and in addition to all of this, the participants will have an opportunity to meet with Citi staff on a face-to-face basis. There is no charge for veterans to register for this series of sessions, and handouts and other materials for functions such as this can be supplied by a Stationery printing company.
The workshops will be held in Piven Theater starting on September 19th, and they will be held each Tuesday evening until October 10th. All veterans will be welcome to participate, and those who are interested have been asked to submit their resume to info@piventheatre.org under the subject line “ VETERAN RESUME SUBMISSION”.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
