Along with cooler weather, the days of fall will bring a special event to Evanston that will give its Main Dempster Mile businesses a chance to shine.
The city will once again be hosting its annual Wine Walk, and a tasty addition to the festivities has been added for this year. The occasion’s charity of choice is Rainbows for All Children, which is a group that helps kids who are grieving after experiencing loss.
The organizers have split the function into two different parts, and those who are interested can choose the one they like the best. The North route will include establishments that are located north of Greenleaf, while the South route will be focused on stops that are to its south.
At each of the stops along the way, ticket holders will be invited to enjoy a sample of wine and do some browsing and buying as well. New for this year will be the “taste of the mile” tickets, and these will entitle the bearer to taste sample bites form a variety of local eateries. Those who register for any of the walks will receive a reusable wine glass. A printer’s graphic design team can be called upon to create and produce Corporate Gifts like these for such events.
