Illinois festival celebrates Mexico

Mexico is a country with rich cultural and culinary traditions, and an Evanston area festival will offer a tribute to its food, drink and music.

The Chicago area will soon be welcoming “Mexico in a Bottle”, which will offer an introduction to the craft mezcals, rums, whiskeys and other spirits produced in that country. A curated collection of over 100 varieties will be on offer, and this is just the start of the fun to be had.

The food for the occasion will be prepared by some of the area's top eateries, and there will also be a variety of special guests from the world of mezcal production on hand as well. Guests will be able to stop by the tiendita to browse through the handcrafts and other products available for purchase, and this will all be accompanied by a backdrop of Mexican music and other entertainment.

Entry to this high-energy event is limited to those who are 21 years of age and older, and tickets are currently available starting at $45.00 each. Themed decor can help to make an event like this feel complete, and local Print shops will have lots of options to choose from.

Logan Square Auditorium will be welcoming guests for “Mexico in a Bottle” starting at 4:00 pm on April 28th. More information can be obtained by visiting its online listing.
