The 4th annual Evanston Police and Fire Foundation’s Golf Extravaganza is taking place next month, and is a fundraiser for the organization.
The yearly tournament is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start. Fees are $150 per player or $580 for a foursome. The cost covers 18 holes of golf, the use of a golf cart, a continental breakfast, a goodie bag, dinner, drink tickets, and an after-party.
Sponsorships are available from $100 up to $500. One of the perks of being a sponsor will include the opportunity to place a promotional item in the goodie bag that every player will receive.
The after-party will feature hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer, musical entertainment, dancing, and a raffle. Attendance is open to everyone, even those who do not play golf, and tickets are $30 each.
Golf tournament, even those that benefit charitable organizations, offer a networking opportunity for players. With that in mind, it is likely that a few of the players will be investing in a new traditional or digital business card printing order from their favorite Evanston printer.
The Evanston Police and Fire Foundation’s Golf Extravaganza will be held at the Canal Shores Golf Course on August 22, getting started at 10:00 AM. For more information about the event or becoming a sponsor, contact Jim Gordon at 773-307-3455.
