Evanston families who have been looking for an opportunity to learn more about the natural world may want to check out a special event that will soon be on offer in their area.
The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum will once again be offering an evening of nature-based learning, and this outdoor event is open to all.
As in years past, the planners of the 2019 Summer Nature Fest have built an agenda that will be filled with hands-on fun, and real scientists will be on hand to share information and make sure everyone has a great time. The museum can be found in Lincoln Park, and the celebration will raise funds to help to make sure its doors will remain open well into the future.
The attendees at the function will be invited to participate in an assortment of nature-themed fun, and there will even be live animals for them to meet. Games and other activities are included, and live music will provide festive backdrop for the function. Food and drink can be purchased, and the crowd can mingle and enjoy the warm breezes of a summer evening.
While admission to the function is free, donations will be very appreciated. The suggested amount is $5 per person or $10 for a whole family, and this detail can be included in the Flyers, Posters and other Promotional Products often used to market an event like this.
This year’s Summer Nature Fest has been scheduled for July 18. The public is welcome, and the occasion will begin at 4:00 pm.
