A lazy summer evening can be tailor made for browsing through a night market, and Evanston has a schedule of these pop-up activities planned for the upcoming months.
The city's downtown will be hosting four night markets, with the schedule running from early June to early September. One will take place each month, with the fun set up at the south Plaza at Fountain Square.
These outdoor summer shopping parties will each include at least 30 vendors, and there is no charge to stop by and meet the sellers in person. The installments planned for July, August and September will include music thanks to the Downtown Summer Sounds concert series. The public is encouraged to patronize downtown eateries after they have finished browsing and buying, and the Sherman Plaza Self Park garage is nearby for anyone who requires parking.
The organizer of the Thursday Day Night Market schedule have thanked the sponsors for their generosity. Poster printing can lend a helping hand when it comes to promoting an event to the local community, and can offer services at a variety of price points.
The dates for Downtown Evanston Thursday Night Market will be June 5, July 10, August 7, and September 4. Each will begin at 5:00 pm and wraps up at 8:00 pm, and its online listing includes a list of its corporate sponsors.
