The city of Evanston has a few events taking place next month that will celebrate the arts.
From June 3 to 30, the Evanston Made exhibit will showcase local artists in various stores, galleries and museums throughout the city.
The opening reception will be held at the Evanston Art Center on June 3 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Some other events taking place around this exhibit is a studio tour on June 4 and Evanston Made Kids. Evanston Made Kids will take place at the Evanston Art Center on June 4 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. It will feature workshops, make and take activities, food trucks, live performances, and a pop-up art store. Call 847-475-5300 to learn more.
Later on in the month, the Fountain Square Art Festival will be held downtown from June 25 to 26. It is presented by the Evanston Chamber of Commerce. More than 200 artists will be on hand to sell their artwork. There will also be jazz music, food vendors, and a children's art tent. It is expected that the festival will attract approximately 50,000 people over the two days. Contact Elaine Kemna-Irish at 847-328-1500 x22 for more information.
It's likely that Evanston banner printing companies will find an increase in orders leading up to these events, and vendors will want to attract more visitors to their booths by hanging a colorful banner on their booth.
