A dedicated brass trio is offering a new concert named ‘Expanding Boundaries’ with which Evanston music lovers will be able to see in the weekend.
This V3NTO Brass Trio is performing works from Joe Clark, Max Pankau, and Brandon Harrington. Founded in 2010, the group premieres new works and spans a wide selection of music. Promoters may have used a number of printing services to get the word of the trio out to the public.
The group has previously performed at several locations in this area, including the Figge Art Museum, Northeastern Illinois University, the Nichols Concert Hall, and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Robie House. It has also appeared at prominent locations in the Midwest.
At present, the group is working with composers Evan Williams, Steve Doyle, Jerry Hui, and Kevin Ames on new compilations. With Skyler Johnson on bass trombone, Anna Jacobson on horn, and Jessica Jensen on trumpet, it promises to be a treat for those with a brain for brass.
Tickets for this concert cost $15 per person in advance. The V3NTO Brass Trio will be performing live on Friday, April 25, starting at 7:30 pm at The Musical Offering located at 743 Custer Avenue in Evanston, Illinois. To purchase tickets, or learn more about this brass trio, visit the venue’s website or call the box office.
