Evanston fundraising walk to help fund cure for lupus

Lupus is an autoimmune disease that affects a significant number of Americans, but an Evanston fundraiser will be taking aim at this serious chronic illness.

A walk has been planned, and as it will be non-competitive, it can be suitable for just about anyone. Both walkers and volunteers are needed, and everyone can lend a hand.

The day will open with a free breakfast, and snacks will also be on offer thanks to Einstein Bagels and Trader Joe’s. After this, the individual and group fundraisers will set out for the walk. The route that will be followed is a little over three miles long, and those who intend on taking part are reminded to complete their online registration ahead of the event.

The Lupus Research Alliance, which will be the host for the day, noted that all of the monies raised by the walkers will be utilized to fund lupus research and other related initiatives. A variety of Promotional Products that feature the function's Logo Design have been prepared to distribute to the participants who meet the individual and team fundraising goals that have been set for the activity.

This jumpstart to summer will be taking place at Evanston’s Northwestern University on June 13. The check-in table will be open to welcome the registrants starting at 9:00 am, and everyone is encouraged to join in the fun.
