Evanston families offered day of fun

The Evanston History Center provides the community with the chance to learn about its past, present, and future, and one of its venues has scheduled a day full of winter family fun.

Dawes House has set the date for its Family Day Open House, which has been planned so that it offers fun for all ages. There is no admission fee being charged, although donations from the attendees will be appreciated.

Families who join the activity will be treated to some light refreshments to help keep them toasty warm, and an assortment of classic games will be set up to play. Live piano music will add an extra touch to the day, and everyone can view the “It’s All Fun and Games” exhibit. There will be plenty of photo ops, and the kids can make a craft to take home.

Advance reservations have been requested. Registrants are advised that a portion of the exhibit may not be accessible to those who use a mobility device.

Offering the public the opportunity to enjoy a day of winter fun can help them to beat the winter blahs. A flyer printing company can offer event planners an assortment of economical marketing materials.

Saturday, January 4 will see the team at Dawes House, which is located at 225 Greenwood Street, host this family friendly occasion. More information is available on the venue’s website.
