The Greater Chicago Cichlid Association recently announced that it has set the date for its twice a year Rare Fish Auction.
Aquarium enthusiasts will be congregating at the Evanston area Hilton Northbrook hotel for this special activity, and it will provide an opportunity for them to purchase species they might otherwise not be able to find in the trade. An evening event, is for its membership only, although new members may join before the event for the annual fee of $20.
The auction will see more than 100 Bags of fish up for bids, and they will be coming in from all over the world. As there will be a schedule of speakers providing details about their care, it may be a good choice for those who are new to the hobby and would like to learn more.
A special event may call for specialized printing services, and these will be available at local Print shops. They can supply everything from Variable Data Print technology to wide format items, all while keeping their client’s budget in mind at every stage.
The Greater Chicago Cichlid Association will be kicking off this auction at 6:00 pm on August 13, with a finishing time of 9:00 pm. More details and a link to become a member can be found online on the Association’s website.
