Evanston’s downtown boasts a wide selection of shops, services and other establishments, and it will be putting its best foot forward during a special evening planned for the city next month.
The Warm Bevvy Walk will make downtown Evanston the place to be for savvy shoppers. Friends and families are invited to explore the businesses that make the area special, and it will give them a chance to support their local commercial sector.
When they arrive to the shopping party, the registrants are asked to head to Uncle Dan’s, which will serve as the check-in point for the activity. Here, they will receive a map of the participating businesses, and those who are 21 and up will also receive a wristband printed with a special graphic design. Those who wish to enjoy the adult beverages on offer will need to show theirs before they will be served, and an ID is required to obtain one of these bracelets.
Many of the establishments taking part in the event will have specials on offer, and each will be serving holiday-themed beverages for the enjoyment of the shoppers. It is free for the public to participate, but they will need to register ahead of time.
This opportunity to discover why so many are proud to call Evanston home will be held on Thursday, December 5. It will be running from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
