Evanston evening to celebrate return to school

Back to school time is right around the corner for Evanston families, and they will be joining together for an event that will kick off their return to classes.

Local residents, no matter what their age may be, are welcome to be part of the ‘Kits, ‘Cats, and Kids Block Party, which will be taking over the Evanston Township High School Band Field. The venue can be found at the corner of Dodge Avenue and Lake Street, and it promises to be a fun, high-energy celebration.

The plans for the afternoon will see food trucks rolling in so that everyone can enjoy their dinner on site. These will be accompanied by arts and crafts stations, performances by the NU and ETHS marching bands, and a pep rally that will show everyone’s community pride. Other family-friendly activities will be on offer as well, and the function will run for three hours.

Festivals and other community events like this can be advertised by using materials supplied by poster printing companies. They can create items that generate community buzz, helping to make sure everyone knows when and where a function will be held.

The ‘Kits, ‘Cats, and Kids Block Party will be taking place on September 15th. It is open to all those who would like to get involved in the excitement.
