Valentine’s is a day for romance, and thanks to an Evanston eatery, some extra love will be in the air this year.
Prairie Grass Cafe wants to celebrate the holiday by hosting a special dinner just for two, and there are several menu options to choose from. As a special treat, gourmet chocolates will be included with each meal, and wine can also be ordered.
As the cafe will not be open for in person dining, the staff at the eatery will pack each order so that it will be ready for curbside pickup. Couples, groups of friends, or even individuals who just want to spoil themselves and have some leftovers for the next day are welcome to make their selection, and the menu includes appetizers for two as well as main courses, and a vegan option is available.
This chance to enjoy a special meal is being presented thanks to the efforts of the area’s food service community, who have found creative ways of supporting each other through the pandemic.
