Evanston creatives to take part in pop up market

Evanston is home to some very creative individuals and these makers will be showing off their talents in two upcoming makers’ markets.

The organizers of the markets have dates set for August and October, and this will be the sixth year that they have been on offer. It will combine an art show with a community shopping party, and while it will be outdoors, the location will provide cover so everyone can keep dry in case of rain.

The markets will feature a wide variety of one-of-a-kind items made by hand, and vendors of all ages will be taking part. They are being hosted thanks to the efforts of Downtown Evanston and Evanston Handmade, and both parking and admission will be free.

The planners of these pop ups explained that there may still be space available for additional small businesses. There are three different table booking options to choose from, and the fee starts at $35.00 each.

To encourage the public to stay tuned in with what’s in store for the shoppers at these events, an RSVP system is in place. Those who do so will have their name entered in a prize draw for a basket filled with Corporate Gifts and other prizes.

The dates for these Evanston shopping parties are August 4th and October 6th. They will both be held at 1800 Maple Avenue Garage.
