Finding the right holiday gift for everyone on their list is about to get a lot easier for those who live in and around Evanston, thanks to a pop-up-style crafter’s market.
The in-person shopping party that will take place at Skokie’s Oakton Community Center will be welcoming Santa to the area well ahead of Christmas Eve, and he has invited area pets to celebrate along with him. He will be the guest of honor for the Holiday C.A.R.E. Faire 2023, and the activity will have plenty to see and do.
The festivities will give dog and cat owners a time to get their furry friend’s photos taken with the big guy in red, and a bake sale is in the works as well. A silent auction is on the agenda and a raffle, pop up craft market and custom ornament fundraiser will round out the festivities.
To help the day make even more of an impact for pets in need, a collection station will be set up for donations of pet food. A list of the donated Corporate Gifts that will be on the block in the silent auction has been posted on the Care North Shore website.
Santa has scheduled a stop in the Evanston area for this special event, which will be on offer on November 25th. It will be open to the public from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
