Evanston area event to help animals in need

Whether they have scales, fur, fins, or feathers, all types of companion animals are invited to attend an event that will raise funds for pets in need of a second chance at life.

The Evanston area C.A.R.E. Faire will be returning for its 35th year, and the list of activities on its agenda offers something for just about everyone. Pets can have even their picture taken with Santa during the day.

People who attend the fundraiser can stock up on holiday treats such as home-baked cookies, and a silent auction will offer an assortment of gift ideas. A pop-up vendor area will connect the shoppers with area crafters, makers, and other small businesses, and the annual C.A.R.E. Market will be back.

In an effort to help as many animals as possible, the organizers have asked Faire attendees to donate some cat or kitten food, and other unexpired and unopened pet food will also be appreciated. A poster printing company can work with the organizer of a fundraiser, providing decor such as Posters that provide examples of how the generosity of a group's supporters has made a difference.

Saturday, November 30 will see this event planned in support of Evanston area animals in need open its doors at 11:00 am. The fun will keep on going until 4:00 pm.
