A celebration of the contribution Japanese culture has made to the USA will showcase art and photography created by Japanese Americans.
This event, which will mark the 90th anniversary of the Japan America Society of Chicago, will be a gala occasion, and guests at the reception will be welcome to sample a variety of Japanese sake, whisky, and light appetizers. Tickets for the evening are $150, and the doors will open to the guests at 6:00 pm.
One of the features of the function that may be especially appreciated by the guests will be the performance of traditional music from Japan. There will also be remarks by Ezra Vogel, who is a scholar of East Asian Studies and Professor at Harvard. The attendees can admire the art, photography, and music while they mingle, and the function promises to be both informative and fun at the same time.
When planning a gala affair like this, the organizers often want to use decor that make a good match for the theme of the occasion. Print shops can help, and their graphic design professionals can custom craft items to help make the function feel complete.
Chicago’s The Drake will be welcoming guests to the Japan America Society of Chicago's Anniversary Gala on March 13. Tickets are on sale now for the evening.
