Two events are coming next month to the village of East Davenport, the first being a Wine Walk.
The walk entails starting at one of the main tents in front of the Village Theatre, Lagomarcino’s, and the International Fire Museum and getting a wristband and a commemorative one-ounce glass after paying the admission fee of $25. Then attendees will travel through the village to different businesses to sample different kinds of domestic, imported, and local wines and samples from the Homebrew community. Live music will be throughout the village. Banner printing is often used for such events to remind people when and where they will take place.
This event is a fundraiser for The Village of East Davenport Business Association. The admission fee for the walk is a donation to the Association.
The other event will be Farm Days in the Village. This will be a free event for every member of the family. There will be rope making, wagon rides, a petting zoo, a tractor ride around, and entertainment. Farm Days will also feature learning how to milk a cow, working farm displays, arts and crafts, and pedal tractors.
The Wine Walk will be held on Saturday, August 20 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Farm Days in the Village will be Saturday, August 27 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, August 28 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
