Unique car festival to come to Norcross area

The Roswell Motoring Festival will be coming to the Norcross area this week. The festival will be taking place in front of the Roswell City Hall.

Featured will be 150 motorcycles, cars, and boats. The event is being organized by Philip Carroll and his wife Pualini. Philip founded the event with its proceeds going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Cars that will be at the event will include a blue 1960s-style electric Jaguar E-Type that is a replica of the car which Harry and Meghan were in as they were driven away from their wedding and a Rolls-Royce Phantom 5 that was built for Queen Elizabeth II.

Also at the festival will be The Earth Brewery providing a beer garden, other beverages such as Bloody Mary’s and coffee, and food from local restaurants including a beef brisket carving station and bratwurst. Vendors will be on hand of both an artistic and automotive nature as well as a military color guard and special guest performances. Such vendors often turn to flyer printing so that attendees can take home with them more information about their products and services.

The event is free and open to the public. It will take place on Hill Street in Roswell from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday October 2.
