It was recently announced that two students from the Greater Atlanta Christian (GAC) School in Norcross received not only a 5 on the 5-point scale on last May’s AP Government exam, but a perfect score.
The two students were Victoria Huynh of Lilburn and Jack Hollier of Peachtree Corners. Matt Fincher, teacher of the AP Government course at the school, commented that these two students work very hard and their success on the exam shows not only how much effort they put into preparing for the exam, but how much they gained from the interactions with an exceptional set of classmates, who earned an average of 4.67 on the exam and were able to challenge them in class.
Fincher added that the achievement of these two students needs to be celebrated as it also shows how the entire faculty effectively prepares students at the school for the next level.
Banner printing companies can be hired to create displays that can be posted throughout the community making them aware of such achievements.
Shane Woodward, principal of the high school, added that this accomplishment reflects the quality of both the faculty and the students. He adds that Fincher has a phenomenal ability to engage and challenge the students and provide them with the knowledge required in the Advanced Placement curriculum to make perfect scores possible.
