Norcross will be holding several events to celebrate the holiday season over the coming weeks.
Such events are often promoted throughout a city and neighboring communities with poster printing.
First up is The Celebration, which includes The Grinch, choirs signing Christmas carols, and Santa Claus. There will also be a lighting of the tree with hot cocoa, festive treats, and other surprises throughout the evening. This will take place at Thrasher Park and is a family-friendly event designed to put everyone in the holiday spirit. It will be from 5:30 to 8:30 pm this Friday, December 1.
The Historic Norcross Business Association will also be hosting the Historic Norcross Christmas Village. Visitors will find face painting, a petting zoo from Lozano farms, Christmas carolers, face painting, and special appearance by princesses from Disney.
This event will be from 1:00 to 5:00 pm this Saturday, December 2 with free carriage rides through downtown Norcross from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The shops at the Christmas Village will also be open throughout the weekend for shopping and indulging in the holiday spirit.
The Cultural Arts and Community Center will also be hosting its latest installment of Norcross Movie Mondays. This month, “The Little Mermaid” will be the featured film. The movie will be screened at 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm on Monday, December 11.
