Several City of Lawrenceville events are planned over the next few months, and residents of Norcross may wish to check them out.
Drive-In Movie Night will be held this fall in October and November in the Depot District, with thrillers, romance, and comedy planned on the big screen. Families can bring their own snack or purchase food items from the several food trucks on site that will include The Red Popcorn Wagon, Kona Ice, and Soul Truckin' Good.
These movie nights will be held on Fridays, October 2, October 16, October 30, November 6, and November 20. The times are from 8:00 to 10:00 pm. Poster printing is often used to publicize such events and provide more information on the movie to be shown.
Universal Joint will be holding a Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, November 14 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm in downtown square. Universal Joint is located behind the Court House on what was once an auto service station in the early 1900s. Visit their website for further details.
The annual lighting of the tree will be held at the historic courthouse in downtown square in November. On the evening of Thanksgiving, the Great Tree will be lit on the lawn of the Gwinnett Historic Court House. This will begin at 5:30 pm with other holiday festivities continuing until 8:00 pm.
