National Compressor Exchange, one of the largest remanufacturers of compressors, recently announced that it has moved its southeastern and international division headquarters to Norcross.
There is a product showroom at this facility, as well as the sales and warehouse operations for the company.
The Vice President of Marketing and Sales Southeast for the company, German Florez, commented that the company is excited about its new headquarters in Gwinnett County.
Florez added that the company is always looking to bring the best HVACR products it can to its customers, and has found that this area is the one location with the best talent and resources so that the company can achieve its goal.
The decision to move to Norcross was based on finding a location that was more central to its customers to reduce delivery times. The company was also looking to provide product supply and logistics, and wanted to be able to distribute its remanufactured products around the world more easily.
An initial capital investment of almost $500,000 and four new jobs for Gwinnett County will result from this new location. The company also plans to grow to increase the number of employees by 10 times the current headcount. Business card printing companies may also gain from the addition of these employees, as most certainly many will need to have cards.
