New fish restaurant opens in Norcross

The state’s newest Captain D’s recently opened in Norcross.

This is the 25th restaurant of the chain in the Atlanta area and the 104th overall in the state, with many more planned in the next few years.

Captain D’s credits part of its success to a new beach design throughout the restaurant. This is a new, more vibrant coastal design and close to 80% of its restaurants have been reimaged and rebranded with it. The new design focuses on Captain D’s unique characteristics, which are serving high-quality seafood at an affordable price in a welcoming atmosphere with warm hospitality.

Features of the menu include its batter-dipped fish, tilapia, shrimp, and Alaskan salmon. Items can be fried or grilled, and accompanied by vegetables and hush puppies. The restaurant also offers freshly brewed Southern-style sweet tea and desserts. Menus with more details about such items can be created using printing services.

Ali and Anil Dossani are owners of the restaurant and opened their first Captains D’s a year ago in Acworth, a suburb of Atlanta. Having now opened a second such restaurant in Norcross, they plan to set up another one next year in Kennesaw.

Ali spoke of the support they received after opening the eatery in Acworth, which enabled them to open this one in Norcross and to continue their growth in the Atlanta area.
