Duluth will host the 3rd annual Gwinnett Family Fest next month. The event is a presentation of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.
The festival promises to appeal to people of all ages and interests. There will be performances by local talent such as Grace Rivord and the All Stars Performing Arts Academy, a toddler playground, and appearances by cartoon characters.
Children's activities include bounce houses, a bungee run, and other inflatable rides. There will also be sand art, face painting, and balloon twisting. All children under the age of 10 will receive a free T-shirt.
Vendors will be on hand to sell food, general merchandise, and arts and crafts. Vendor booths are still available and cost from $80 up to $250 depending on merchandise being sold and whether the vendor is a Chamber member.
Several food trucks will also be at the festival. There will also be a charity dunk tank which costs $5 per throw and will feature Peter Zimmerman from ‘The Walking Dead’. Proceeds will go to various local charities.
Duluth flyer printing companies often provide materials to advertise such festivals.
The Gwinnett Family Fest will be held at the Gwinnett Chamber on April 27 from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Admission is free of charge. To learn more about becoming a vendor, or about the festival, contact Stephanie Sokenis at 678-672-2562.
