One of the oldest and largest art festivals in the country is coming to Winter Park soon.
Having debuted in 1960, Park Avenue in Winter Park, then a small community project, has grown into one of the biggest events in the region, attracting over 350,000 visitors each year.
The event is coordinated by an all-volunteer board each year. More than 1,000 artists from across the globe typically apply to participate. The board assigns a panel of independent judges who in turn choose 225 artists to exhibit at the festival.
The Winter Park Festival has been ranked consistently in the top juried fine art festivals in the nation. Art Fair Source Book, Art Fair Calendar, and Sunshine Artist Magazine have all recognized this event as superior. The artist application this year is by invitation only and will be offered to the 2020 final artists.
Exhibitors are often asked for their contact information. Business card printing is an essential project to handle in advance of any public event to ensure information is available for potential customers.
A wide variety of items will be on display at the festival, including fine arts, drawings, fiberglass, jewelry, leather, crafts, clay, and metal. Emerging artists will have a special category at this event too.
The Park Avenue in Winter Park will take place May 14 to 16 in Central Park and Park Avenue, opening at 9:00 am each day.
