The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation has awarded a grant of $70,000 to the Arts and Culture Alliance of the city of Winter Park for the expansion of Arts Weekend.
Also supported by this funding will be increasing visibility and awareness of the arts and culture organizations that are members of the Alliance.
Two strategic priorities will be supported by the grant. Arts Weekend 2027 will receive $50,000. This will fund four days of arts in the community at no charge to the public and will include Art in the Park, a community concert, self-guided tours to locations of members of the Alliance, and a thought-leader conversation. The other $20,000 will go towards general promotion of the Alliance, including a special advertising campaign.

Arts Weekend is an initiative that is growing rapidly and benefits businesses, visitors, residents, and the entire community. The Arts and Culture Alliance was founded in 2017 and supports the vision of Winter Park as a city of culture and the arts, and brings together over 20 non-profit organizations that provide arts programming.
