The Track Shack will be organizing a race in January at the Stage at Central Park in Winter Park.
The Park Ave 5K is a competitive event that encourages participants to start the new year with physical activity. The race is part of the Track Shack Running Series and will benefit the Track Shack Youth Foundation. People may walk during the 5K, and those with strollers can also partake in the activity. A few local restaurants will be attending the race, including Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, and the Black Bean Deli.
The 5K will have some procedures to ensure all attendees can have a fun and safe time at the race. Bikes, scooters, and skates are not allowed, and runners are discouraged from using headphones. The venue will also set up areas for washing and sanitizing hands. Sealed water bottles will be available to guests. Sporting events like this can highlight regulations to attendees by creating large Signs with banner printing services.
The race will take place on Saturday, January 22 at 7:30 am. The awards presentation for the event will be held at 8:30 am. Those who register for the Park Ave 5K by January 9 can pay $33. The cost will increase to $38 from January 10 to January 21. Same-day registration will cost participants $43.
