The Alfond Inn in Winter Park will be serving up a gourmet meal in November to raise funds for the Alfond Scholars Program.
The Thanksgiving Feast at The Alfond Inn is a buffet where guests can indulge in chef-inspired food while supporting a worthwhile cause. Several items will be offered on the menu, such as seafood pasta salad, grilled swordfish, and roasted cauliflower. Traditional Thanksgiving dishes like turkey, stuffing, and pie will also be available at the buffet. There are two seating times at the feast, and all attendees will get complimentary valet parking.
The Alfond Scholars Program is a gift from the Harold Alfond Foundation that awards 10 full scholarships to first-year students at Rollins College. Those in the program will partake in an off-campus experience during their first three years and collaborate with Rollins faculty members. The Harold Alfond Foundation was formed in 1950 to invest in young people and entrepreneurs. Organizations like this may share fundraisers with locals by utilizing banner printing.
The feast will occur on Thursday, November 25 and will cost $69 per adult. Children may attend for $29. The first seating time is at noon, and the second will occur at 3:00 pm. Kids under four can eat at the Thanksgiving buffet for free. Those who may have special seating requests can write them out on their order.
