Winter Park to organize fall plant sale

The Mead Botanical Garden in Winter Park will hold a family-friendly shopping event in November.


The Growvember Fall Fest & Plant Sale is a market where the community can explore various plant vendors while enjoying activities at the botanical garden. Guests may listen to live music, drink beer at the beer garden, and buy snacks from food trucks. Many plants will be available during the fest, such as house plants, medicinal plants, and native plants that attract pollinators. There will even be activities for kids at the garden.


Organizations wishing to take part in the fall fest can become a sponsor. Companies that pay $500 for the Garden Sponsor will have their logos shown on the event’s printed materials and the Mead Botanical Garden’s website. Those who become a Patron Sponsor will get a designated space for their Banners at the festival and can give a presentation to attendees. Presenting Sponsors are given a booth space where they can sell their products.


The fall fest and plant market will be held on Friday, November 4th from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, November 5th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Entrance to the festival and parking will be free for guests. Businesses can pay $175 to become a vendor. Stores with stalls at markets like this may use brochure printing to give attendees take-home information about their brands.
