Winter Park to offer fish identification course

Dayo Scuba in Winter Park will be giving a class on how to identify fish at Ft. Lauderdale Beach.

Scuba divers who are interested in familiarizing themselves with local aquatic animals can attend the Fish ID Class taught by Denise Byrne from Dayo Scuba. The course will consist of two beach dives and a few review quizzes. Those who take the lesson will learn how to identify the main families of fish and use that knowledge to decipher fish species from around the world. All students who take the class must be open-water certified. Participants will receive a fish ID manual to help with their at-home studying.
