The City of Winter Park Community Center will hold a conference in January for women who are business owners.
The Womanpreneur Mini-Summit is an event where female business owners can interact with other professionals. There will be several successful women featured at the event as speakers. They will share their secret advice for success with guests and help people feel motivated by telling inspirational stories. The event is made for women who are just starting out as entrepreneurs and seasoned business owners. Attendees can also attend panels at the event.
The organizers for the Mini-Summit are Ashley Pereira and Cassandra Johnson. The duo created the event in response to alcohol-by-ticket networking events made for extroverted business owners. The duo wanted to make an event that felt introvert-inclusive while still delivering an empowering experience for guests. The organizers have plans to add in-house accommodations for children at their conferences, though currently no kids are allowed at the events.
The summit will take place on Saturday, January 27 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. Tickets to the conference will cost women $49 each, though the prices will increase to $64 after January 3. The cost of admission will include healthy snacks and non-alcoholic drinks at the event.
