Winter Park to host fundraiser gala and date night

Dr. Barbara Coffee will organize a charitable gala in Winter Park where mature adults can interact with other professional singles.

The Dinner Dates with a Twist Gala is an event where couples can meet and interact with several attendees over a three-course meal. The Halloween-themed activity will be held at the Women's Club of Winter Park. All guests are asked to wear formal clothes to the charitable event. Dinner for the evening is catered by GEORGE'S and will feature dishes like New Orleans-style salmon and herb-crusted beef tenderloin. Free alcoholic beverages are included in the gala's cost.

The Harbor House of Central Florida will be the benefitting organization for the event. The group assists those impacted by domestic abuse by offering life-saving services and educating the community about the issue. People who donate to the nonprofit will help fund emergency plans for survivors and provide families with nights of safety. The group also hosts events like the Signature Purple Door Luncheon and Annual Handbags for Hope.

The fundraiser and date night will take place on Saturday, October 15 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets can be bought for $150. After the gala is finished, the event will host a follow-up cocktail party for guests to meet in an informal environment.
